Restaurant La Grotta in Melle

By ordering online, the food was ready to be picked up in 30 minutes on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. The pizza was impeccable and very tasty (tuna, vegetarian). Since the house wine we ordered was no longer available, we would be given a more expensive wine at no extra charge. Thank you very much!

The pizza ò sole mio that was delivered was very tasty. With the spaghetti Bolognese you got a brief shock because you had to fear of being corona infected: Absolutely no taste perceptible! You couldn't even taste the tomatoes. In addition, the delivery took over 70 minutes after the order was placed. What a shame!

The six of us were able to reserve a table and enjoy the evening there. The menu is very “pizza-heavy”, but there are also some meat and fish dishes. The food was very good, the service quick and attentive. The restaurant was a stroke of luck for us who do not come from Melle.

I usually enjoy the food at La Grotta a lot and also think the prices are reasonable. The service is always very good. Today we decided to order pizza, unfortunately it was not baked through and therefore not edible. We had to bake them in the oven at home, which is not acceptable at a price of 21 euros. The tiramisu was ok. The delivery time as well. Addition: For reasons of fairness, I have edited the price. This totaled 25.50 €. Best regards

We ordered something to deliver today and I had great hope in you after all the positive things I heard. For me it was the first experience with La Grotta and probably the last. There are only two stars because my partner is actually convinced of you, but she was visibly disappointed when our half-raw pizzas, which were also only lukewarm, arrived in our kitchen. We live about 10 minutes from the restaurant. The pizzas must have left the restaurant in this condition. I know you are not a delivery service and that Covid-19 makes life a little difficult for all of us, but that you have to bake your two pizzas at home at the price of just over 20 euros borders on insolence. For dessert there was a tiramisu, which was quite passable. To be honest, the finished product from the Edeka is at least as good, if not better. Edit: 10/9/20: In fairness, the price in my review was adjusted. Instead of just under 30, changed to just over 20 euros.

The pizzas are quite pricey. Few guests come. The pizzas are not very tasty, with roughly chopped pieces of meat and vegetables.

There were two to eat there. Pizza was delicious. For vegetarians (not me) who don't like goat cheese there was very little on the menu. But the kitchen has an alternative cheese on request. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I would eat there again 👍😁

No lasagna, the canneloni were more of a child's portion, others thought the pizza was very dry. And all this at a high price. I don't have to go back there.
